The Sharpe Family Singers arrived on season 18 of “America’s Got Talent” with the story of Ron and Barbra’s first kiss on that same stage — and four children ready to prove the family act had become something of its own.

Their arrangement of “How Far I’ll Go” moved the lead across all six singers before opening into full harmony. Sofia Vergara called the performance “perfection,” and all four judges voted yes.

From a viral screen to a national stage

The audition introduced television viewers to the balance behind the group: Broadway storytelling, pop energy and the chemistry of a family that has sung together everywhere from the car to concert halls.

The moment carried the family into the live rounds and remains one of the clearest introductions to what the act does best — six individual voices becoming one sound without losing their personalities.
