Two Broadway performers, four kids who can all really sing, and a catalogue that runs from Les Misérables to whatever is on your feed this week.
The Sharpe Family Singers are Ron and Barbra Sharpe and their four children — Samantha, Logan, and twins Aidan and Connor. Six voices, one family, and a sound built on the kind of blend you only really get from people who grew up singing in the same kitchen.
Broadway beginnings
Ron and Barbra met onstage in the original Broadway production of Les Misérables, playing Marius and Cosette. That grounding — real theatrical craft, eight shows a week — is still the backbone of everything the family performs, whether it is a Sondheim number or a pop song rearranged for six-part harmony.
From the stage to the feed
The family began performing professionally together in 2014, touring a mix of popular music and theatrical favourites. When they started posting their arrangements online, the audience found them fast. The harmonies that worked in a theatre turned out to work just as well in a ninety-second video, and the family has been moving between the two worlds ever since.
The live show
The Best of Broadway is the show the family takes on the road: showstoppers from current hits like Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen, Disney on Broadway, jukebox musicals, and the classics — Phantom, Cats, Evita, Guys and Dolls, West Side Story, Carousel, Fiddler, and Les Misérables itself.
Presenters can also add the family's education and community outreach programme, where local school choirs attend sound check, rehearse with the Sharpe Family, and perform the finale of the show onstage with them.
